I was speaking to A and she told me that she wanted me to sing this song. She loves this song and so do I. Lovely song. Brings back quite a few memories...
It was late 2005 and I was into reading 'The Da Vinci Code'. I used to read the book listening to this song and they so very well went along. The music is mystique which aids the mood of the book.
Also, I remember watching this movie with D, A, R and Taxi! Some really nice moments...
Hope you like it; I loved singing it.

Mitwa
15 March 2008
I was not feeling well since a couple of days. Had to cancel a trip to my sister's. Somehow, I was listening to this song and started humming and then took out my recording apparatus (well, thats just my digicam!) and started recording.
This song has been amazingly sung by Shafqat Amanat Ali. This was also incidently the first song on which I had a shoot. It was an exciting time.
To one of the best songs of 2006! And to the one's who believe in 'Love will find a way'!

Maa
04 January 2008
I had watched 'Taare Zameen Par' a day before and loved the film. I admire Aamir Khan. I love his way of portraying things and his perfection. I also loved his directorial venture, although, I don't really know how much of the directorship is 'really' his. Anyway, one song that really really moved me is 'Maa'. Loved that song. Simple, soft and direct to heart. Shankar Mahadevan has again done an excellent job. I love that man's singing too. There was a time when I never really admired him. However, I heard him Live during one of those engineering festivals and he's just awesome.
I recorded 'Maa' in my voice today in the evening. I was missing my dear mom very much. Thought I would send across the recording and let her feel that I am nearby.
Got a reply the next day, infact even spoke on the phone to her and realized that the hard work was surely worth it.
To the 'Maa'(s) in the world, dedicated to you all...

Phulon ka taaron ka
29 August 2007
The middle of the week certainly was a bit dull considering that this period was quite hectic. But then it was a special day - it was Raksha Bandhan! I was missing my dear sister. Although I wanted to send her a very nice gift, I had no idea what would be the best thing. Having thought about it, I decided to record a song and send it across, making this a very personalized gift. And that was how it was - a new recording!
She really loved the gift and my effort was, therefore, certainly worth it! Love you 'A'. This song dedicated to you...
